KENYA : Lions extend lead in KBF Premier League

Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) has maintained their supremacy at the summit of the KBF premier league going unbeaten since the start of the season back in April. Out of 8 matches , KCB has 16 points.
Thika Road based students USIU come in 2nd with 13 points having lost one of their 7 matches; they share the same number of points with their rivals Strathmore University who are at position 3 having played 8 matches losing 3 of those.
Defending champions CO-OP Bank who are struggling to get a footing in their title defense campaign are 4th with 12 points. Against their expectations, CO-OP Bank has lost 4 of their 8 matches.
UON Terror, Thunder and Kakamega based MMUST are at position 5, 6 and 7 respectively sharing 8 points. Terror has played 5 matches while Thunder and MMUST have played 6 matches. Blazers who are at position 8 and Mennonites (position 9) follow both with 7 points.
The last 3 teams in the men’s category are KPA, Lakeside and Ulinzi.
KPA and Lakeside share 4 points while Ulinzi are back in the league after they were disbanded due to the ‘Operation Linda Nchi’ close the table not having played a single match.
The K.B.F Premier League and the Division One will resume this weekend and the fixtures are as follows;
