KENYA : KCA Thump Jomo Kenyatta in NBA League
KENYA College of Accountancy (KCA) University thumped Jomo Kenyatta University of Science and Technology (Jkuat) 50-26 in a Nairobi Basketball Association (NBA) league match at Railways Club. Jayne Mugwanga was the top scorer with 11 points. She was power behind KCA's 26-21 win over Strathmore University 26-21.
The other women's show saw Barclays Bank of Kenya nip Kenya Polytechnic University 23-19 as Adeline Munguti bagged 10 points. In the men's matches, Reagan Basweti poured in 22 points to lead Old Pirates to a 61-55 win over Multi Media University (MMU).Nick Oloo hit 21 as JKUAT thumped Kind Deaf 79-24. Selected results: JKUAT 40 MKU Thika 13; Our Lady Queen of Peace 47 JKUATS 33; Strath 35 Kenya Poly 29; Jkuat 59 Zetech College 73; Dolphins 53 MKU (T) 64; Morans 50 Saints 40.
