KENYA : Equity stands tall in NBA league

Equity basketball team is firmly at the helm of the zone ‘B’ men’s category in the Nairobi Basketball Association League following their impressive 9 matches’ unbeaten run. The bankers have amassed a total of 18 points and it’s the only team to have a 100% record since the league kicked off 8 weeks ago.
Multi Media comes in second with 13 points in the zone ‘B’ while Legacy is 3rd with the same number of points but has played one more game than Multi Media. Baraka Extreme, Old Pirates and MKU Nairobi campus occupy position 4, 5 and 6 respectively.
JKUAT Karen campus closes the zone B table with 5 points having lost all its 5 matches.

In the zone ‘A’ Little Prince leads with 14 points having played 8 games while bankers Barclays Bank’s Eagles comes in 2nd with 13 points. Don Bosco and Saints are at position 3 and 4 respectively both having13 points. MKU Thika campus, Zetech College and King Deaf are the last three teams in the zone ‘A’ table with MKU having 8 points after seven games while Zetech and King Deaf have 7 points each after 6 games.

In the ladies category, KCA University tops the standings with 13 points having played 7 matches while KU Oryx comes in 2nd with 12 points not losing any of 6 matches. Multi Media and EMYBA come in 3 and 4th with 12 and 11 points respectively.

Footprints are at the bottom of the table with 4 points.
