KENYA : Equity a match short of going unbeaten in NBA

Equity Bank basketball team is one game shy of being unbeaten in the Zone ‘B’ men’s Nairobi Basketball Association League. Having played 11 out of their 12 matches so far, the Bankers have an impressive record winning all outings this far and amassing 22 points.
Closely on their track is Legacy that has managed 20 points from 12 matches. Legacy have lost 4 of the matches played. Madaraka based students Strathmore Blades come in 3rd with 19 points losing only one of the ten matches that they have took part in.
Multi Media University, Old Pirates and Baraka Extreme occupy position 4, 5 and 6 points respectively.MMU has 19 points just as Strathmore while Old Pirates and Extreme tie at 18 points.
At the bottom of the table are Heroes, JKUAT Karen campus and Friends of Basketball (Kenya). Heroes have 12 points from 9 matches losing 6 of those. JKUAT Karen Campus finally managed a win over the weekend and has 11 points from 10 matches. Closing Zone ‘B’ is F.O.B which has 10 points from 2 wins, 6 loses and 1 forfeited match.
In Zone ‘A’, high school students Upper Hill are at the base with 11 points having won 3 matches and losing 5. King Deaf are ahead of them by a single point having won only 1 of their 11 matches. Mt .Kenya University, Neo Sasa Morans and Woodley Knights are in position 7, 8 and 9 respectively with MKU and Morans tying at 14 points while Woodley has 13 points.
The top 3 teams in the Zone ‘A’ are Little Prince, Barclays Bank Eagles and Don Bosco. Little Prince has 20 points the same as Barclays but have played a match more compared to the Bankers. Don Bosco has 18 points winning 8 of their 10 matches.
The league resumes next weekend at the Railways Club.
