KENYA : The Eagles Maintain supremacy in NBA league

Barclays Bank basketball team (The Eagles) currently tops the table standings in the Zone ‘A’ men’s category in the ongoing Nairobi Basketball Association League. The Bankers have 17 points having lost only one of their nine matches.
Little Prince comes in second with the same number of points but have played ten matches losing three of those. Don Bosco is in 3rd place with 15 points having won six of their nine matches.
Kenyatta University’s Pirates are the only team yet to taste defeat in the Zone ‘A’ having a 7 out 7 performance and this places them at position 4. King Deaf and Zetech College are at the bottom of Zone ‘A’ table with King Deaf at position 12 with 8 points while Zetech are the last team with 7 points managing to win only one of their six matches.

In Zone ‘ B’ Equity are still firmly holding the lead having won all 10matches the best run so far in the league. Equity has 20 points followed by Legacy who have 16 points.
Old Pirates and Baraka Extreme are at position 3 and 4 respectively with 15 points each with Old Pirates having played nine matches winning six while Extreme have played ten matches winning five of them.
In the lower half of the table Heroes and Our Lady Queen of Peace are at position 10 and 11 respectively both with 9 points. Friends of Basketball Kenya and university side Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (Karen Campus) are at position 12 and 13 respectively both also having 7 points but F.O.B have won one of the six matches while JKUAT are yet to win a single match since the onset of the league.

The league resumes over the weekend at the Railways Sports Club.
