The Miracle Eagles will have a full line-up for a FUBA men’s division one match for the first time this season.
They also believe they can win it even if it is against reigning champions D’Mark Power, unbeaten in four games.
Put differently, life is getting better for the Eagles after a torrid start to the season that saw the club lose its array of stars and first three games. It remains to be seen if Miracle can shock a Power team that, in addition to possessing a wealth of talent, have been buoyed by a sh30m deal with 7UP on Wednesday.
But there is no doubt the Eagles have come a long way since the beginning of the season, where they looked like a team auditioning for relegation. They even won for the first time last week, defeating Rez Life 70-58.
“Our focus is on the last 19 (regular-season) games and we believe we can beat Power,” said veteran Eagle Chris Kyebambe.
Miracle are putting together a team of potential future stars and they could have Julius Lutwama and Isaac Bwire available for the first time in this campaign.
