UCU Canons, the team that has replaced Falcons amongst the ‘big three’, can sink them further when the two clash in the Fuba League at YMCA court today.
The university side, though yet to win a championship, has been to the playoffs in four of the previous years. Falcons missed out on the post season last year.
The odds are that both will get as there playoffs have been expanded from four to eight teams but Falcons are already behind the top sides. Their roster seems far from delivering as losses to KIU and Warriors showed that they remain miles from adding to their six titles.
All players and the coaching staff insist this is a work in progress but another defeat by UCU is not the solution to any question.
Julius Lutwama, signed from Nkumba Marines, and Brian Ssentogo, returning from a stint with Eagles, were the latest acquisitions in a 73-53 mauling by Warriors
