Basketball in Africa

University side Strathmore will on Friday evening take on their fellow students United States International University in the KBF men’s Premier League as one of the main events during the Friday Night Basketball that takes place every first Friday of the month.
Strathmore who are yet to be beaten in the league are at position 4 with 6 points having played 3 matches while USIU are 6th on the log with 4 points having won the two matches that they have played so far.
In the women’s category Strathmore ladies will also be in action against Storms who hold position 2 in the table with 6 points having lost 2 of the 4 matches played. On the other hand Strathmore are at position 8 having played only 2 matches winning one and losing the other.
The matches are scheduled to start at 6pm at the Nyayo Gymnasium and the tickets will be going for Ksh300 for VIP section while the normal tickets will cost Ksh200.
