KENYA : Masinde Muliro going for a win

Masinde Muliro University basketball coach Abel Wafula is optimistic that his side will win when they host promoted side Lakeside in the Kenya Basketball Federation premier league match tomorrow.
MMUST as they are commonly known managed to bag 3 points in Nairobi 2 weeks ago and they hope to secure another win on Saturday to extend their good run at the commencement of the season.
Speaking to Michezoafrika.com Wafula mentioned that the squad is in high spirits and that they have prepared well for the match over the weekend,
“We have a full squad even though the University is not in session and the boys are psyched up for the game. I can say that everything is okay and we shall be going for a win.’’
Technically, the coach said he will be relying heavily on his point guards,
“we shall be going for the 3 points and I know Alex Lugasi will be instrumental in this. We have a new player in the team Mike Okoth and he will be also pushing for the 3 pointers.’’
The match is scheduled to kick off at noon.
