KENYA : Lions Delight at the helm of the KBF table

KCB Lions tops the Kenya Basketball Federation League table with 8 points from four matches. Strathmore University comes second with 6 points while defending champions Co-op bank lies 3rd with 5 points having won two and lost two of its matches.
University sides Masinde Muliro and USIU hold positions 6 (3points) and 7(2 points) respectively. Lakeside is the last placed team with no point having lost one game and their weekend fixture against Masinde Muliro University being rolled over in favor of the students after the debutants arrived at the match venue late.

In the women’s premier league , Western Delight leads the women’s category having won all its 3 matches to stand on 6 points while new comers Safe Spaces have the same number of points but have played 5 games.
2011 Champions Eagle Wings stand at position 5 with 4 points having won the two matches that they have played so far. KPA closes the women’s category with no points since they are yet to play any match.
KCA – U are currently enjoy the summit of the Division one Basketball League with 8 points after 4 matches winning matches. Nairobi Aviation another student side follows closely in second place with 7 points after winning 3 matches and losing only one. African Nazarene University lies at the bottom of the table with 3 points having lost all its matches.
Both leagues resume this weekend with the following fixtures lined up.
