KENYA : Baraka Extreme shall recover – Bantu Kinaro

 By BRIAN AYIEKO

Baraka Extreme tactician Bantu Kinaro expects his side to recover in the next matches of the ongoing Nairobi Basketball Association League. The team has so far lost all their 3 matches this season but Kinaro is optimistic that things will change.

In their last match, Baraka Extreme lost to Equity despite being a stronghold in the league. Speaking to MichezoAfrika.com Kinaro said his team has been having a problem in finding suitable training sessions mostly because of the persistent evening rains.
“We practice in an outdoor court meaning that when it rains we have problems.’’
Kinaro has also pointed out on transitions as one of the technical areas he needs to address before they play their next match.
“Our defense formation is poor and teams capitalize on this to punish us. The same applies when we are defending and we need to attack, but we have been working on both aspects especially in defense rotating and I already see some improvement.”
Final execution is also another aspect that Kinaro expects to improve in order for them to register wins, “I our recent matches, we always get a number of chances but flop on execution. We have intensified in shot practicing and I see this as a thing of the past’.
“The fitness of the team is also a little bit below par. But at times sports depends on luck and I can say we have just been unlucky.’ Kinaro added.
