DMark Power face South Sudanese side Bilfam Warriors in a friendly encounter at YMCA this evening as a build-up for the Fuba League play-offs.
Coming off a bitter 94-96 loss to Warriors on Sunday, Power will be keen to use tonight’s game to put a few things right before taking the court in Game One of the best-of-five semi-final series against Miracle Eagles on Saturday.
Power, who looked uncharacteristically disjointed against Warriors in the fourth quarter, have inside knowledge of their Sudanese opponents after they visited them in Juba in July, setting the stage for an exciting game.
Bilfam also played Warriors last night and have lined up games against Ndejje Angels and KIU Titans on Thursday and Saturday respectively. After the games, they will head to Nairobi for more build-ups.
Meanwhile, KIU Rangers wrap up their regular season with a game against former women chapions Makerere Sparks today. Rangers have already secured third place and should use the clash to fine-tune for the best-of-five semifinal play-offs duel against KCC Leopards.
