KENYA : Trailblazers Go to Kisumu to Face the Lakesiders
TRAILBLAZERS will now travel to Kisumu to face Lakeside in the Division One play-off quarter finals. According to Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) fixtures secretary Joseph Amoko, the self sponsored side have been given a chance in the post season games following the withdrawal of Kenya Navy. "Your team has been slotted for the above play-offs versus Lakeside on October 29 and 30 in Kisumu after Navy pulled out." said Amoko.
The official added should there be need, the match could be pushed back. He said that Umoja are on standby should Trailblazers not honour this last minute call due to financial constraints. Trailblazers finished ninth while Umoja were placed 10th in the regular season games. The other lower division tie pits home team Nakuru Club against Parklands Baptists.
This match will be played at the Menengai High School courts this weekend. University of Nairobi "Terrorists" and World Hope completed their games over the weekend. UoN locked out Nairobi Aviation College (NAC) and Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) respectively.
