UGANDA : Eagles, Canons showcase play-off prospects.

Miracle Eagles are not far away from achieving their goal of reaching the MTN-Fuba League play-offs for the very first time. They face UCU Canons at YMCA court today hoping to improve on their 10-2 record thus far.

UCU are also close to comfort following the points deduction suffered by 7UP Falcons with Ndejje University Angels now the main contenders for the fourth place occupied by the former. Weather has been a factor since the second round started with Miracle having to wait 48 hours to beat Youth Heaters 59-34.
Norman Blick and Steven Omony are looking better together each passing day. “Since the beginning of this season, our bench players have delivered,” said Joe Burua, the Miracle coach. Guard Francis Kasekende has been as impressive as the star duo. UCU are playing their first game of the second round and must bury the lengthy lull fast.
Their stars Desmond Owili, Sande Okot and Sudi Ulanga will hope there are no ill-effects from the rest which can derail the rhythm that has taken them to 5-4.Heaters and Ndejje meet in the other Division One game.
