UCU Lady Canons and KCC Leopards, the two unbeaten giants in the women’s MTN-Fuba League, will go into next Sunday’s clash on a high after the latter’s 82-46 rout of Nabisunsa on Sunday night at YMCA court in Wandegeya.

In the pick of the weekend games, the champions dominated all four quarters 21-10, 19-3, 18-12 and 24-21 against the school side. Like has been for most of the season, Lorraine Akinyi and Lyn Nalunkuma led UCU with 13 and 10 points and also equally shared 16 rebounds. It was the reigning MVP Maureen Amoding who delighted coach Dare Sculy most with 10 points.

That return was her highest tally this season. All these left YMCA court firmly in the shadow of Nabisunsa’s Joy Chemutai, who finished with a game-high 18 points and six boards.
