RWANDA : Hoops lose classification contest against Egypt

The men’s national basketball team lost 76-66 to Zone IV rivals Egypt in the classification match of the FIBA Africa Championship played yesterday in Antananarivo, Madagascar.
Rwanda lost the first three quarters 14-19, 15-16, and 11-20 before claiming the fourth quarter 26-21.
Point guard Kenneth Gasana scored 19 points and made six assists with Olivier Muhizi added nine rebounds.
The hoops failed to march into the last eight after a 72-80 loss to Cote d’Ivoire on Wednesday. In another classification game, Chad saw off Togo in tight match which ended 63-62.
