NIGERIA : First Bank's Defeat Excites Erinfolami
The chief coach of First Deepwater Club, Lateef Erinfolami, has declared that his best moment at the just concluded Zenith Premier League in Akure was the defeat his side inflicted on their arch rivals, First Bank Club also of Lagos.
"It was a moment I felt really happy because we had prepared hard for the game. We could not afford to lose once again to First Bank after they beat us in Abuja during the first phase of the league," the former national team skipper told Trust Sports on arriving Lagos.
"The players knew what was at stake and they put a lot seriousness and commitment into the match. And after the game, we were all happy to let our opponent (First Bank) have their own bitter taste of defeat."

He said they lost the first quarter by 12-13 points but rose to the occasion in the second quarter winning by 17-11 points to take a 45-41 point's lead into the break.
