IF money can buy trophies then the Falcons will routinely have a title at the end of this basketball season considering their recent engagement with Crown Beverages to a tune of sh160m, writes Usher Komugisha.
With new additions to the team this evening, Falcons will be looking to contend in this year’s playoffs depending on their performance in the regular season. But so far they are not convincing, just like the other ‘big’ four (Power, Warriors, UCU and Miracle).
Falcons struggled against Nkumba Marines five days ago forcing a 62-50 win but against the KIU Titans, they have to be wary of the athletic Sudanese, Abraham Juma who tormented UCU Canons last week.
