ZIMBABWE : Kings take on Christian Centre
Abundant Life Christian Centre (ALCC) have a tough tie ahead of them when they take on high riding Kings Basketball Club in a Bulawayo Basketball Association (BBA) league match at Bulawayo Club for the Disabled on Saturday. Kings top the log standings with 19 points from 10 matches while ALCC are sixth with 14 points from the same number of matches. Kings were lucky to escape with a victory after a tight contest against Oilers whom they eventually beat 34-31 in their last league match.
Garikai Gumbo, Kevin Manyengere and Benjamin Jani are some of the players ALCC are advised to watch. ALCC has Honest Nguruve, Moses Tigere and Cravin Mathonisa amongst other players to rely on. In another match lined up for the day, second-placed Giants take on fourth-placed Oilers. Mpumelelo Hlabangana will be seeking to continue from where he left off after he scored a crucial 36 points for Giants against Stars. William Muchuchuti and Lionel Wolfeden are some of the players Oilers will bank on.
