The Uganda women’s team outdid their male counterparts by chalking up two victories at the Fiba Africa Zone V Nations Championship that ended on Saturday night in Kigali, Rwanda.

The women beat Tanzania 64-33 on the final day to make it two triumphs in what has been a tough tournament for Uganda. Coming just one day after her 26 points couldn’t rescue Uganda from a 74-59 loss to hosts and eventual champions Rwanda, Maureen Amoding dropped another 24 to defeat Tanzania.
