It was the second time lowly ranked MMUST were pinning ICC, who have stayed in fourth place of the standings for a couple of weeks. ICC coach Fredrick Omondi will have to devise a method to tame MMUST in the playoffs that they are likely to qualify.

Posta are third with 33 points following their easy win over University of Nairobi’s Terror 64-30.

Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) changed places with ICC this week. KPA are now third in the standings, having beaten Blazers in Mombasa.

KPA women ousted regional champions Eagle Wings and now lead the women’s standings with 27 points. They hammered Kenya Polytechnic University 136-19 in Mombasa.

Eagle Wings rested at the weekend and are on 26 points with a game in hand. Strathmore University tied with Eagle Wings on points after they overcame the United States International University-Africa 56-41.

On-fire Ulinzi are leading in the men’s Division One. They were too to hot to handle for Nakuru Club in winning 68-52.

But Mennonites are on Ulinzi’s heels following their demolition of Friends of Basketball of Kenya (FOB-K) 72-63.
