UGANDA : Omony’s Miracle in action
Today at YMCA
Riders v Miracle (7.30pm)
Berkley v Warriors (5.30pm)
KCC v Ndejje (3.30pm)
Vegetarian v Gulu (1.30pm)
UCU JV v Kings (9.30am)
Women
Mak Sparks v Mak Cubs
After an insipid and almost predictable first round when Kyambogo Warriors, DMark Power, UCU Canons and Mountain Dew Falcons looked like certainties for the four play-off slots, Miracle Eagles is ready to shake up the status quo.
A combination of Miracle’s resurgence after six first round defeats and Warriors’ recent wobbles has set up a two-horse race for the final postseason position.
Today, that race takes another twist as Miracle and Warriors face enigmatic Knight Riders and basement Berkley respectively. The latter two are vulnerable in their fight against relegation.
Stephen Omony’s star has shone through for Miracle but their resolve will be tested by the speed and spirit of Riders. John Musoke, Edward Kabanda and Ivan Mutabazi are expected to lead Riders.
