LIBERIA : Boakai Lalugba is back in France

Liberian international basketball star Boakai Lalugba has returned to the French league.
The 29 year old penned one year contract with the Denain Voltaire of the French league one with an option of renewal based on performance.
Boakai Lalugba joins the club from Finnish side Vilpas Vikings where he averaged 13 points and 8 rebounds in 31 minutes of play.
Denain’s coach Marc Silvert described the Liberian as a player who blows the rackets.
Coach Silvert believes the inclusion of the former Helsingborg star player on the team would make them much stronger next season.
France is no strange destination for the big man as he has had sting there before.
The forward spent two seasons at Pro B side JL Bourg where he made a significant impact.
Lalugba averaged 11.6 points and 5.8 rebounds in 59 games during his stay at the French outfit.
The Liberian who is bearing an American passport has also had spells with clubs in Sweden, and the USA.
