LIBERIA : IE settle FIBA Africa debt
Liberia’s traditional club Invincible Eleven has settled its financial obligation with FIBA Africa.
IE made the payment to the African basketball governing body through the Liberia Basketball Federation.
The club was ban 2006 from all FIBA Africa activities and subsequently fined seven thousand United States Dollars for disorderly conduct and its failure to settle hotel bills while honouring a FIBA fixture in the Ivory Coast.
The payment of the money will now afford them the opportunity to participate in next year’s FIBA Africa and LBF league seasons.
