NIGERIA : Yelwa's clash with Peaks broadcast live on SuperSport Select
The newly-refurbished National Sports Commission (NSC) gymnasium in the city of Bauchi will come alive this weekend when hosts Yelwa Hawks will take to the court against Savannah conference hopefuls Plateau Peaks of Jos.
The clash, set for Sunday, will be broadcast live on SuperSport Select Channel to basketball fans across the globe.
The Savannah conference fixture will be the first to be shown live by the sponsor in the 2009/ 2010 Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) DStv Premier League with the tip-off set for 16:00 local time (17:00 CET).
The Hawks, who are without a win (0-3) three weeks into the season, will look for veteran Jeffery Lohor to inspire his team-mates. He has declared that they are ready to end their barren run in Nigeria's top flight.
"We are set to end our losing streak and it's nice that the game will be broadcast live to millions of fans across the world," said the 6ft 3in shooting guard.
"Peaks are an experienced side but we are sure we can start winning against them."
Week 4 (29-30 May) fixtures (all games tip off at 16:00 local time unless stated otherwise)

Sunday: Yelwa Hawks vs Plateau Peaks; Tapgun Rockets vs AHIP Giants.
