LIBERIA : Pele continues sparkling form in France
Liberian International basketball star Pele Paelay led the scoring chart of his fellow in Europe’s domestic basketball leagues over the weekend.
The sensational star forward rally 9 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists as his club Etoile Charleville-Mezieres secured a narrow win in the French Pro-B League.
Mezieres upset Boulazac Basket 86-85 points in a match that was too close to call.
Still in France, Andrew Feeley provided no significant contribution to Olympic Antibes as they were dealt a severe blow by Limoges CSP Elite.
The Liberian scored only 2 points as Antibes bowed 59-91 points to Limoges.
In Spain, Michael Williams drained 3 points during Gestibrica De Vigo tragic defeat to Grupo Begar Leon in the LEB Gold competition.
Gestibrica were beaten 74-64 points.
