LIBERIA : LBF league Continues
The Liberia Basketball Federation ( LBF) national league continued over the weekend with several matches taking place at the Open Air Sport Commission on Broad Street.
On Friday Road Runners bowed miserably to Ducor Magic 41-60 points in an important encounter. In the second pairing, C. Delta whipped SOS Trotters 60-22 points.
On Sunday, Georgia Blazers narrowly slapped Destiny Kings 42-43 points in the third division. C. Delta again defeated Ducor Magic 53-23 points.
The competition will continue during the week.
Meanwhile, the National Under 18-male and female teams continues their intensive training for the up coming Zone Three FIBA-Under 18 championship. The competition is expected to take place at the National Gymnasium at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex in Paynesville City.
