REIGNING basketball kings Bralirwa got off to a bad start yesterday when they lost to hosts KIE (Kigali Institute of Education) in the opening match of the National Corporate league.

The brewing company was in imperious form last season winning all their games to dethrone Ministry of Defence (MoD) as basketball giants, but they failed to contain a spirited KIE side.

In the other game, MoD was too strong for Access bank after a 81-54 victory.
