IVORY COAST : The Elephants working out for Libya in Spain
Côte d'Ivoire is currently in Getafe, Spain for its final preparations for the 25th FIBA Africa Nations Championship to be played from 05th to 15th August 2009.
The Elephants, who previously took part in a summer league in Sacramento, now are in full swing in Getafe, Spain under the eyes of head coach Randoald Dessarzin and assistant coaches Frederic Thuries and John Douaglin .
Joining the current team in Getafe are Stephane Konate and Arnaud Dahi as well as naturalized U.S. American player Errick Craven while the pack will be led by Pape-Philippe Amagou and and Mohamed Kone.
Before heading over to Libya, the Elephants will be facing a local team from the Asturias and on the 30th of July the Malian national-team in France. After that, Dessarzin is going to choose his twelve players for Libya were they are facing Nigeria on the 5th of August in FIBA Africa Nations Championship.
