TANZANIA : Kings Clinch Regional Basketball Title

Arusha — The Arusha regional basketball champions this season are Arusha Kings after defeating the Spiders in the finals last weekend.
The competition was aimed at selecting regional representatives in the coming national championships due in Mwanza from 23 May this year.
The regional competitions had involved four teams: Njiro Hoppers, the Spartans, the Spiders and the Arusha Kings.
Speaking after the competitions the regional Basketball chairman Ally Jua Mwakalinga expressed his satisfaction on the choice made to represent the region in the national competitions as the Arusha Kings had the best talents.
The Kings received a trophy worth Tsh.200,000.
