ANC for Women –ZONE IV Qualifiers: Cameroon beat DR Congo 56 – 43 in first leg
The female team of Cameroon beat today the female team of DR Congo 56 – 43 in first leg game of the FIBA Africa zone IV Nations Championship for women qualifiers in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
DR Congo trailed 20 – 27 at the break and the second leg game will be played tomorrow. The winner of these qualifiers will represent the zone IV at the Afrobasket women 2009 to be staged in Madagascar.
The game took place at the new brand multipurpose arena of Yaounde that the inauguration has been presided yesterday by the President of Cameroon, Paul Biya.
