Zone IV Cup – Second straight win for Central Africa after crashing DR Congo 83 – 42
The national men team of Central Africa recorded its second straight win of the zone IV Nations Cup after crashing DR Congo 83 - 42 in the day 3 played in Bangui, Central Africa.
Central Africa ruled the game from the start to the end by wining all the four quarters (10 – 27 ; 12 – 19 ; 13 22 and 07 – 15).
The best scorer of the game was Mutombo from D R Congo with 17 points while Kouguere and Mokotemapa from Central Africa poured respectively 15 points and 13 points.
With this with, Central Africa ended the first round at the top of ranking with 4 points followed by DR Congo with 3 points while Congo ranked third with 2 points.
In the first game of the second round to be played today, Central Africa will face Congo.
This Zone IV Nations Cup as part of zone IV qualifiers to the Africa Nations Championship for men to be played in Libya in August.
