By Johnson Were
KIU basketball team has finally signed Mariam Tamale and Halima Nabusimba from Nabisunsa Girls School ahead of the new season starting on Friday.
Nabisunsa’s official Mwajuma Nabawanuka had refused to endorse the transfer saying that her club can’t give away players freely yet they invested a lot in them
Nabisunsa had earlier asked for sh0.5m for any player who intended to leave.
A1 Challenge and UCU’s Lady Canons had also showed interest in Nabisunsa’s players.
But Tamale and Nabusimba were declared free agents after completing their studies at Nabisunsa.
KIU coach Nimrod Kaboha said the two parties will boost his side
