Cape Coast Hoops is back to its winning form once again. Beating Tema Youths in a decisive match played Sunday at the Chinese Court, Kaiza Flats, Tema Community 4. The match was the final game in the first round. The second round starts this Sunday with both team meeting again. The game which was played in a fast paced form from the beginning was very exciting and entertaining. The lads from Tema were determine to win the game to have better standing in the league as they earlier lost a match as well. But the strong defense and swift attacking offence of the boys from the coast held them at bay majority of the game. Both team played man to man defense from the start of the game to the end, reducing many chances for both sides. Arriving back in the team line up after a long break in Nigeria were Alinko and Saheed who had just returned the day before from Nigeria after traveling for eighteen hours to get to Ghana. Though a little fatigue they were still instrumental in Hoops 35-32 win. Man of the match once again was O. Azuazu scoring ten points, four assist, three rebounds and a block. Alinko had seven points, three rebounds and two blocks. Other in the line up includes J. Amu, K. Baffoe, P. Ashong, B. Debrah, S. Oladipo, H. Mensah, J. Akpabio, K. Dewee, A. Anas and E. Maluta.
