National Basketball League side Power have sealed a one-year sponsorship deal in the range of Shs50m with DMark Mobile, a top technology company in Uganda. The champions will now be called DMark Power.
“It has not been easy to get sponsorship but finally we have secured a good deal,” Power’s technical director Peter Mubanda, told the press at Steak out Restaurant in Wandegeya yesterday.
“Power came to us looking for a fund raising platform but we took it up upon ourselves to sponsor them,” Stella Rugarambe, DMark’s business development manager, said at the press conference.
Power also unveiled rugby star Allan Musoke as their new signing for the next two years. Early this year they signed star Norman Blick.
