TANZANIA : JKT Stars thrash Polisi Dar in Kili RBA league
JKT Stars defeated Polisi Dar es Salaam 80-46 during the RBA Kili Regional Basketball league at the Indoor Stadium in the city yesterday. The victors took off with real intent to win, and they posted a deserved 46-12 lead at the break.
JKT’s Lulu Joseph was outstanding as she netted 24 points, while evergreen Evodia Kazinja scored 19 points. Neema Emmanuel and Anna Paulo netted 18 and 12 points respectively for Polisi Dar es Salaam.
In another match, Don Bosco Lady Lion thrashed Tanzania Prisons 60-44. They took a 24-17 lead at the break. Key players from Don Bosco were Nina Mligu who scored 16 points and Sajda Ahmed scored 15 points. Prisons points were netted by Emelda Hango who scored 18 points while Halima Bali scored 6 points.
