MOROCCO : Results 7th round

FUS Rabat - ASE Essaouira: 53 - 57
ASE eked out a dramatic victory over FUS confirming their excellent state of preparation. The hosts managed to deny an 11-point halftime deficit before losing in last minutes of the game, mainly due to a lack of concentration and the poor effectiveness of FUS usual scorers Marius and Ndaye.
ASE Essaouira Asvel celebrated this impressive victory and occupied the 1st spot in D1 standing.

IRT Tanger - KAC Kenitra : 91 - 78
IRT was too strong for KAC where Tunisian Marouane Kechrid paced his team to this victory draining 18 points and 8 assits. Papis Diouf dominated the paint nailing 17 points and pulling down 12 rebounds. On the other hand, visitors faced with 5th failure in 7 appearances.

WAC Casablanca - CMC Casablanca : 77 - 67
Very important victory for WAC, who finally moved up from the bottom off D1 standing (1-7). But there is still a lot of work to do for coach Ghissassi if WAC wants to play the playoff this season.

MAS Fes - ASS Sale : 92 - 85
The Great thing for head coach Hachem Ouahidi is that MAS players demonstrated wonderful performance and showed better self confidence. ASS managed to deny an 6 points halftime deficit outscoring 10-2 at the beginning of the 2nd half thanks to a very aggressive defense. But scoring guard Traor putted his team back on the game netting 3 three point shots in the row. Teams then exchanged points in a very intense 4th quarter where ASS players lost concentration and starts missing easy baskets.

IRAN Nador - RCA Casablanca : 72 - 55
Another big performance for IRAN players who round after round are demonstated that they really earned to be promoted to D1. Without their international center player Najah (suspended by the federation), RCA could not impose their rhythm in offense and suffered in defense.
