MOROCCO : Day 6 Results

As it was expected, ASS was too strong for winless WAC (67-57). Visitors created impressive start at the very beginning of the game. Until the end of the second period ASS struggled at the offensive end and made lot of defense mistake what the hosts exploited to maintain the score and stay on the game. But in the 3rd period ASS players finally woke up and made the difference leaving coach Ghissassi team with their worst season start of their history (1 win in 6 appearances).

Another big performance for FUS players who outsmarted KAC in Sal (64-67). Despite the over aggressiveness (with some provocations) of KAC players, Coach Uariachis squad responded positively and secured an important win to stay at the top of D1 ranking.

Coach Said Bouzidi paced ASE Essaouira to fourth victory this season (61-54). MAS players realized why no team has won ASE at home. MAS controlled the game tempo during the first three periods, but their stars players lack to shine during the last period mainly due to ASE good zone defense. With their excellent fighting spirit and strong self-confidence, Bouzidis players won 10 points out of 12 possible, making ASE doing so far their best season in the history.

IRAN Nador outplayed CMC in Casablanca with 9 points (76-85) proving that they are a serious candidate for this season's playoff. CMC are slowly drowning since they lost all the games and are not showing any sign of improvement.

Heartbreak game in Casablanca, where the reigning champion suffered and grabbed it (not easily) versus RCA (79-84). IRT players showed poor defense skills and inconsistency in offense. RCA players took advantage of IRT stars bad night to stay in the game and kept exchanging points with Coach Fayed players until last minute of regular time. Visitors couldn't even dream what will happen to them during the last seconds of the game. Another defense mistake resulted in a foul at the buzzer on RCA's Canadian player Dominique when the score was even 70-70. IRT contested the foul and argued with the referee with no success as Dominique had his two free throws to win the game But he missed them!
IRT reacted and won the extra time thanks to Papis Diouf who collected 10 points and 6 rebounds in the last 5 minutes of the game.
