23rd Champions Cup for men – ½ finals: Etoile du Sahel stun ASA 78 - 53


Etoile du Sahel (Tunisia) booked for the first time of its history a ticket for the Grand final of Africa Champions Cup for men after beating ASA (Angola) 78 – 53 in semi finals game of the 23rd Africa Champions Cup for men, played in Sousse, Tunisia.
The players of coach Abidi Ridha led the game from the start to the end as they won all the four quarters (21 – 20 ; 21 – 12 ; 20 – 09 and 16 – 12).
Maoa Atef and Malik Malik poured 16 points each for Etoile du sahel while Ben Romdan scored 12 points.
Joser Eskimonto of Asa was the best scorer of the game with 19 points followed by his teammate Filipe Abrao who hit 18 points
Etoile Sportive du Sahel will play the final game tomorrow against the winner of the other semi final game between Primeiro de Agosto (defending champion) and Stade Nabeulien while ASA will face the loser in classification for the 3rd and 4th places.
