First Bank of Nigeria won the third place after beating today ABC of Cote d’Ivoire 76 – 62 in the classification game for the 3rd and 4th place, played at Nyayo National Stadium gymnasium.
First Bank won the first quarter 24 – 13 before ended the second in equality 12 – 12. First Bank won the third 23 – 18 but ABC with a last effort won the last quarter 19 – 17 but not enough to avoid the defeat.
Camara Fatouma of ABC hit the high game 19 points while her teammate Berte Salimata poured 12 points.
First Bank’s side, Udoka Mfon hit 17 points followed by Oselabi Funmilyo with 15 points.
