Radi of DR Congo finished their group games by posting today their sole win against Eagle Wings of Kenya- 72 – 61 in a closely fought pool A tie, played at the Nyayo national stadium gymnasium in Nairobi, Kenya.
Radi were down in the first quarters with a 14 - 18 margins while charged back to take the second 20 – 15. In the third, Eagle Wings led 15 – 12 and trailed 13 – 26.
Masau Kalungu exploded for game high 24 points while Mukosa Nyoka collected 16 for the DR Congo's side. Eagle Wings who ended their preliminary round matches without a win, had 21 points from Miriam Hamala and 17 from Anastasia Andalia.
Radi and Eagle Wings ranked fifth and sixth respectively, failed to go into quarter final and will fight with the fifth and sixth of Group B for the classification games for the 9th – 12th places.
