SOERRA LEONE : Canon Royals are basketball champs
Canon Royals are champions for this year's annual basketball championships. They won this year's competition by defeating their arch rivals YSC in a very stiff encounter.
In the first quarter Canon Royals won it by 19-12 and the second quarter which was very exciting saw Canon Royals maintaining their lead by winning the second quarter by 33-23
The third quarter which seemed full of physical strength was decided in their favor by winning it 48-33 the last quarter ended 61-53
The third place competition was a win for YMCA after they defeated Central Phoenix in a best of three. During the playoffs the best four teams in the competition had the chance to fight for the championship which was won by Canon Royals.
