Basketball in Africa

The Libyan national senior basketball team lost against Algeria 68-83 ,the new coach Filip-Luetic Neven entered the game with experience players but they fall short against an organized Algerian team who managed to control the game from the begining extending the lead to 19 points ,the libyan national team coach changed his tactics and managed to cut the lead but they could not keep up with the Algerian team as they missed many opportunities to score.

Alfateh Mohammed Belgacem was the best player from libya scoring 39 points.
