UGANDA : Power face tough KIU at Lugogo
by Sande Bashaija
Lugogo
KIU Rangers v UCU 5pm
Sadolin Power v KIU 6:30pm
UCU Canons v Warriors 8pm
Coach Nimrod Kaboha has two puzzles to solve when the MTN-Fuba League action resumes at Lugogo Indoor Stadium tonight. First, Kaboha has to lead the women’s team - KIU Rangers against Uganda Christian University (UCU) Mukono before his men take on dazzling Sadolin Power.
While the Rangers are struggling to come to terms with the loss of their influential players Hadijja Kizza and Barbara Namukaya, Kaboha has a pool of stars to choose from for the Power game.
The acquisition of Michael Karuiki, Mande Juruni and Moses Olobo, has given KIU hope of making their maiden appearance in the play-offs and the team’s results in the second round are promising. Table leaders Warriors have an equally tough fixture against UCU Canons.
