ANGOLA : Provincial Tourney Kicks Off Without Main Candidates
The first round of the Luanda provincial men's basketball tournament will start on Friday, with highlight to the absences of 1º de Agosto, Petro de Luanda, national champions and runner up, and Atlético Sport Aviação (ASA), third placed.
According to the calendar, 1º de Agosto will rest, whilst the match between Petro de Luanda and ASA was postponed since the latter will travel on Friday to Portugal for a two-week training period.
Interclube is the only candidate to the title that will play in the first round when they receive Sporting de Luanda at home, at the "28 de Fevereiro" pavilion.
