Al Ittihad managed to beat Al Ahli Tripoli in the final game to clinch their 17th league title in club history.
the game was played in Nelson Mandela Gym. in Zwara , Although it was not a high score game but it was exciting, Al Ittihad managed to take the lead only in the forth quarter.

the first two quarters was too close both teams could not build more than a two point lead but in the final seconds of the second quarter Al Ahli Tripoli stole the ball and gave it to Khalid Al Dersi who scored a three point shot at the buzzer to give Al Ahli Tripoli a 5 point lead (28-23).

in the third quarter Al Ittihad took control of the game , cutting down Al Ahli Tripoli lead but it was the forth quarter that saw Al Ittihad crushing Al Ahli Tripoli and building a 15 point lead to end the game (58-43) for them and win their 17th title while Al Ahli Tripoli made it to the final game for the first time since 2001 when they won their last championship against Al Ittihad.

with this game the league competition is over ,still there is the Cup competition to be completed in the next two weeks Al Ahli Tripoli will play against Al Jazeera the winner will play against Al Ittihad then the winner will qualify to the group 1 final against Al Shabab meanwhile Al Nasr will play against Al Hilal the winner will play against Ahli Benghazi in group 2 final.
