TANZANIA : Arusha Kings Clinch Union Day Trophy

Arusha Basketball Kings clinched the Union Day tournament after crushing the Spartans 26 - 20 in the finals.
The kings eliminated four other out of six bonanza teams that showed up at the Soweto basketball pitch. The third winners were the Hoops who forced the Blue Naget to the fourth position.
Elia Mwabukusi of the Arusha Kings was voted the best player of the tourney.
Speaking at the close of the bonanza, Kings' captain, Joseph Mrema said his team was the only one that worked hard to participate in the national events. The team is scheduled to participate in the forthcoming Union basketball league due from May 20.
The Arusha Kings lineup comprised Elias Mwabukusi, Joseph Mrema (captain); Rahim, Chelu, Robert Edward, Patrick, Jonathan Lema and Ahmed Ali.
