UGANGA : Women's Champions KCC Leopards Lose Star Players Akullo, Hamala to Kiu Rangers

Super National women basketball champions Kampala City Council (KCC)
Leopards have lost two of their best players Becky Akullo and Miriam Hamala.
The duo, who inspired KCC's Leopards to their maiden title and Zone 5 Club Championships bronze medal last year, have joined rivals
Kampala International University (KIU) Rangers. "We have been awarded scholarships and couldn't turn the offers down,"
Hamala, who has been Leopards caption revealed to Daily Monitor yesterday. Hamala, a Makerere University graduate is hoping to do a Masters or add another bachelor's degree in procurement while Akullo is yet to decide on which course to do.
