NIGERIA : Warriors, Potters in away wins
Dodan Warriors basketball club of Lagos Sunday posted a 78-56 points away victory over Nigeria Customs basketball club in a local derby at the sports hall of the Lagos National Stadium.
The Adeka Dauda and Peter Ahmedu coached Dodan Warriors side played like true warriors as they run rind-round the border boys as the Customs team is also known to record their first conference win after bowing to Union Bank 61-52 in their conference opening game.
The Edwin Jerry captain-Warriors won three of the four quarters (Q1: 21-13, Q2: 23-15 and Q4: 21-13) leaving the Customs with the third quarter 15-13.
And in far away Bauchi the fortune of home side Bauchi Net continue to dwindle as they succumbed a second time at home to Niger Potters basketball club of Minna 71-69.
