UGANDA : Upsets Galore As KKL League Ends

The form-book in the just concluded Stanbic Bank sponsored Kampala Kids League (KKL) Basketball season was torn to threads on the last day of action.
Big sides got shocks as they lost their last round of games but ended up as champions courtesy of their earlier impressive performances that saw them win matches at the start of the season.
In the Senior Boys' category, Haruna Kazibwe stole the limelight with 7 points as his side Yana Tyres edged out Splash 19-18 to snatch the title.
The Junior Boys champions - Eagle Air were routed 11-4 by a resilient Aqua Sipi thanks to Victor Karugaba who poured in a game-high 8 points.
Kampala Kids League Commissioner Trevour Dudley presided over the awards ceremony and noted the improvement in the standards of basketball amongst the youngsters.
